At Easter 2004, we went to Kubu Island in the Makgadikgadi Pans. Kubu Island is known for large numbers of Baobab trees and ancient ruins. Recent heavy rains made the going very heavy, as our friends with the Land Rover Discovery found out. See more on the Makgadikgadi Pans and Kubu Island.
